In Gaza, if a student has a mobile phone, they have a way to continue their education.

This is why we've seen many successful graduates over the last couple of years.

The telecommunications worked in Gaza because Israel needed it to conduct their genocidal war.

We took advantage of this while most of the universities were completely demolished.

Education is important to the Palestinian people.
Life is important to us.

We are not people who were created to be killed or to kill.

We want to live a full life and education can enable this.

Dr Jilan Wahba Abdalamjid, Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Ireland, made this important point to students of @qubelfast @qubliterific recently.

East Jerusalem’s historic neighbourhoods are being systematically emptied of Palestinians.

The international community must act now to end these flagrant violations of international law, and realise Palestinians’ human rights.
