‏A message for our Palestinian students living in Ireland relating to the Palestinian final year exam, the Tawjihi:

تعلن وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي الفلسطيني عن بدء التسجيل لعقد امتحان الثانوية العامة للعام 2026 لطلبة المحافظات الجنوبية في الخارج. يرجى من من جميع الطلبة المؤهلين لدخول امتحان الثانوية العامة للعام 2026 مراجعة سفارة دولة فلسطين لدى ايرلندا لبدء اجرائات التسجيل, علما ان اخر موعد لقبول طلبات التسجيل هو يوم الإربعاء الموافق 25/03/2026.
برجاء احضار المستندات التالية لإستكمال عملية التسجيل:
- جواز السفر الفلسطيني او البطاقة الشخصية
- شهادة اخر مؤهل علمي

An honour to meet Bernard O’Byrne for his respec

An honour to meet Bernard O’Byrne for his respectful stand, at a European level, for the just cause of the Palestinian people.

Bernard resigned his role as board member of FIBA (Fédération Internationale de Basketball) when he wasn't supported in his motion to suspend Israel from competition in response to their violations of international law.

To make such a stand for what's right in the face of adversity is truly courageous. This is something we see time and time again from the Irish people.

No doubt Bernard's moral actions will remain in the minds of his peers across Europe. His action will most certainly stay in our minds and in the hearts of the Palestinian people 🇵🇸🇮🇪

In Gaza, if a student has a mobile phone, they have a way to continue their education.

This is why we've seen many successful graduates over the last couple of years.

The telecommunications worked in Gaza because Israel needed it to conduct their genocidal war.

We took advantage of this while most of the universities were completely demolished.

Education is important to the Palestinian people.
Life is important to us.

We are not people who were created to be killed or to kill.

We want to live a full life and education can enable this.

Dr Jilan Wahba Abdalamjid, Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Ireland, made this important point to students of @qubelfast @qubliterific recently.

Ambassador Wahba Abdalmajid was honoured to speak with @tcd_sofia recently.

There were so many young people passionate and eager to learn about the role of diplomacy in conflict.

Speaking with the younger generation gives us much hope for the future.
